1. Do I need to get entry visa to Vietnam?
-   Vietnam has become more liberalized now in issuing its visa to the foreign visitors. In many countries, you can apply direct to the Vietnam Embassy or Consulates, and generally, it takes about 4-10 days. Now the visitors can also obtain the visa upon arrival at the airport with special requirement. On arrival, visitors must complete duplicate arrival and departure forms. A yellow duplicate form for custom must also be completed - KEEP THE YELLOW COPY for departure or you will face pretty hefty "fine" Visitors must obtain visa approval prior to entry. A tourist visa for Vietnam can be obtained from any Vietnam Embassy or consulate office world wide. Visas are valid for 30 days and can be extended through our head office in Vietnam Vietnam exempts entry visa for Asean Citizens (Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, The Philippines, Cambdodia, Myanmar, Indonesia ), Scandanive citizens as well as Japanese, South Korean tourists
2. How to apply for Vietnamese visa?

-  Custom limits are 200 cigarettes and one litre of alcoholic beverage ( including spirits) per person. Foreign currency is excess of USD 3,000 (192 pounds) in value must be declared on arrival. Be careful about carrying what authorities refer to as " culturally offensive items": These might include foreign pornographic videos (CD, DVD, VCDs), any anti-government literature, pornography (magazines), weapons and explosives. 3. How about visa to Cambodia and Laos?
-   Visa for Cambodia and Laos is available on arrival without prior processing. Cambodia visa: US$ 25/person. Laos visa: US$ 30/person
4. Myanmar visa: ?
-   Type of Visa If you hold F.I.T Visa, you must change US Dollar 200 into FEC 200 (Foreign Exchange Certificate) upon arrival at the Yangon Airport and you have to spend this “paper money” during your time there because this money will be unchangeable. If you hold Package Tour Visa, you do not need to change your money. When you travel with us , we will provide you with Package Tour Confirmation Fax and you have to apply with our fax at Myanmar Embassy abroad to get Package Tour Visa. 5. When is the best season to travel to Vietnam?
-   Vietnam stretches 3200km along the coast. The weather is varying from region to region but generally in the south from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta, sunshine and hot throughout the year. There are only 2 seasons, rainy season and dry season but in the north and the central, there are four season: spring, summer, fall and winter. From November to March is winter in the north and the central. The average temperature during winter is from 6o C degree to 20o C.
-  But high season of tourism in Vietnam is from October to April, at this time, the north and the central is cold (winter) and the south is not very hot and no rain during this time.
6. Do I need to have any vaccination to enter Vietnam?
-   If you take culture tour and stay mainly in the city, no need the extra vaccination but for safety reason and for your health guarantee you better consult your doctor before traveling.
7. What is the best souvenir from Vietnam?
-   Vietnamese silk, tailor made traditional dress (ao dai), lacquer ware, table cloth, pottery.
8. Is this safe to travel alone in Vietnam?
-   Yes, it is safe to travel alone in Vietnam. Vietnamese people are very friendly and willing to help you if they can.
9. Is there seat-in-coach tour in Vietnam?
-   Yes, there is seat-in-coach excursion (1 day, 2 days) in the big city like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Sometime, these tickets are not included entrance fees. You can find our budget tour that use seat-in-coach mixed with advanced hotel booking.
10. Can I rent a car and drive by myself?
-   No, in Vietnam, the road system is not good enough. We are building the national highway along Vietnam but it is not finished yet. You should better rent a car with driver.
11. Can the driver speak English and act as the guide?
-   No, in Vietnam, most of the driver can only speak a very little English and of course they can not act as the professional tourist guide.
12. Do the Traveller Checks are accepted in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos?
-   American Express Travelers' Cheque (US$ 500.00 note) are not so common. The reason is fear ot couterfaite and high bank service will be added. The matter is you can only change for $US500 at maximum for one service. The US$100 is O.K. and it can be changed into US dollars or Vietnamese currency( the Dong) at foreign banks (City Bank, A&Z Bank. Hongkong-Shanghai Cooperation Bank ...) and Vietcombank(Vietnam Comercial Bank). The bank service: 1% - 2.2% will be added to your bill . Most of the travel agents and shops do not accept travellers'cheque. Same thing happens in Cambodia but travellers' cheque in general are not accepted in Laos.
13. Can I bring credit cards to Indochina
-   Most of the cards are accepted in Vietnam and Cambodia: VISA, MASTER, JCB, DINNER CLUB, AMERICAN EXPRESS. But in Laos, they only accept Visa, Master Cards and JCB. But please not that 3% - 4% bank charge will be added into your bill for payment in credit cards. ATM are available in the big city in Vietnam. ATM are still not very common in Laos and Cambodia.
