- Entry visa can be either obtainable at Vietnamese Embassies where you live or through the assistance of our Travel Agent (CHOLON Travel ) in Vietnam.
- Entry visa is requested for all visitors irrespective of their nationalities
- Foreigners and overseas Vietnamese need to fill in 2 applications for Entry & Exit Visas (single or multiple visa is both permitted), enclosed with 2 photos (4 cm x 6 cm size and looking straight) and send them to the diplomatic or consular mission of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the country where he/she will find to be the most convenient.
- Entry visa will be obtained after 5-7 days of process.
- To help our Travel Agent to speed up entry visas, foreigners are required to inform Travel Agent (CHOLON Travel ) the following details by facsimile or e-mail:
- Your full name, date of birth, nationality, occupation.
- Your passport number, date of entry and date of exit
- Which Embassy of Vietnam to get visa stamp
- The visa approval applied by Travel Agent (CHOLON Travel ) will be sent to the Vietnamese Embassy the most convenient for tourists. The interested person will get the visa at the Embassy
B. At Entry & Exit
- At entry, tourists are requested to declaire their baggage for inspection

- 400 cigarettes
- 50-100 cigars
- 100 grams of tobacco
- 1.5 liter of liquor
- Personal effects of a reasonable quantity
- Small gift items valued less than USD300
- Cash (but a more USD3000 must be declared)
- The following items are prohibited:
- Weapons, explosives & inflammable objects
- Opium and other narcotics
- Reactive and depraved cultural materials.
- At exit, goods of commercial nature and articles of high value require export permits issued by the customs authorities. Antique, some precious stones, 7 animal listed in Vietnam's Red Book may not be brought out of the country.
